Join us on September 2nd at 10:30 am CST! This is the first event in the quarterly Welcoming Schools Educator Series! Look for more opportunities throughout the school year!

This 90-minute-interactive session will prepare educators to better answer questions from students and families related to gender topics while learning how to develop gender-inclusive classrooms!

Topics include:
❖ defining LGBTQ vocabulary for students of all ages
❖ reflect on the messages students receive about LGBTQ identities
❖ respond to challenging questions and comments in the classroom, like "That's So Gay".
❖ use Welcoming Schools book lists and lesson plans to establish LGBTQ-inclusive school climates
