WS Educator Series: "Intersectionality - School Practices with an Intersectional Lens"
How does your school community approach members with multiple identities that have been historically marginalized?
Join us May 13th at 10:30 am for "Intersectionality - School Practices with an Intersectional Lens"!
This 90-minute online workshop will explore the concept of intersectionality and how to use it as a framework to create school climates that are affirming and welcoming for students’ whole selves, including intersectional identities such as race, ethnicity, gender, ability, faith, LGBTQ+ identity, family structure, etc. Together, we will increase our understanding of the experiences and impact of school policies and practices on students’ intersectional identities.
Registration is $40 with group discounts available! Reach out to dave.edwards@genderinclusiveschools.org with questions or if you need low-cost or no-cost registration options!
