What do kids, even young kids in early elementary school, know about LGBTQ+ topics? Join us on March 11th at 10:30 am for the Welcoming Schools Educator Series Event: "Creating LGBTQ+ Inclusive Schools"

This 90-minute-interactive session will prepare educators to better answer questions from students and families related to LGBTQ+ topics while learning how to develop inclusive classrooms!

Topics include:
❖ defining LGBTQ vocabulary for students of all ages
❖ reflect on the messages students receive about LGBTQ identities
❖ respond to challenging questions and comments in the classroom, like "That's So Gay".
❖ use Welcoming Schools book lists and lesson plans to establish LGBTQ-inclusive school climates
